Comparative Study
The Comparative Study is one of the three exam components for the IB Art Visual course. It is an independent, critical, and contextual investigation that explores artworks from differing cultural contexts. I researched three artists and three artworks for my study to answer my research question "How do Damien Hirst, Marcel Duchamp, and Tracey Emin use ordinary objects in their artworks to challenge the traditionally accepted standards of what can be considered art?"
